A man wearing a chest brace asked me yesterday if my family’s Jewish. I told him “no,” that we are Amish Mennonites. “So…who do you follow?” he asked. I told him Jesus Christ and the Bible. “Yeah, that’s what I follow, too,” he quickly said. Then he leaned closer and quietly said, “I think if everyone would live like y’all we would have a lot less problems in this world.”

Woah.

He was wearing prescription sunglasses along with the brace. I’m not sure if this is significant or not. His words: “People need the Lord today.”
